Jamie comes to the ART from Chicago, where he was an avid and frequent musical theatre performer. In 2004, he won the Joseph Jefferson Citation for Best Actor (Musical or Revue) for his performance as Alfred C. Kinsey in the world premiere musical Dr. Sex at the Bailiwick Repertory Theatre.  The following year, he earned the After Dark Award for Outstanding Performance as Georgie Pillson in the world premiere musical Queen Lucia at Lifeline Theatre.  Jamie also performed eight times with Light Opera Works in Evanston, most recently as Uncle Max in The Sound of Music.  Since joining the ART, he has performed in staged readings of The Reel Life and Euphoric Tendencies.  He holds a BA in American Studies from the College of William and Mary (located in his hometown of Williamsburg, VA) and an MFA in Acting from Illinois State University.
